Our yearly AfroLatin IndepenDANCE is here again!
170+ dancers the past editions! One of our biggest parties!
I Dance parties are all about uniting dancers from different schools, meeting new dancers, dancing as much as you like, enjoying great music, dancing and getting to explore different dance styles!

We'll cover all your favorite SBK dance styles in multiple rooms!

📍LOCATION
The event will take place at the amazing Avec Dance Club, Sturenkatu 27!
Super dance floor, great quality sound system and great vibes!
There will be snacks and drinks available included in the ticket price, and you can also bring your own snacks and drinks.
There's a 24h Alepa right next door!You can bring your own drinks and snacks, there's a 24/7 Alepa right next door.

‼️ VENUE RULES 
- No outdoor shoes on the dance floors, indoor non-marking shoes or socks.
- No glitter or sequin
- No drinks on the dance floors

If you are looking for a partner and are on Facebook or WA you can ask in the various groups for a partner´
If you are attending classes at dance schools you can ask people in your class!

Couple Passes consist of a Leader Pass and a Follower Pass.
For online registration: When purchasing you need to enter the buyer details, and then the first and last name for each pass. After completing the sale the buyer will receive the passes by email. If you are not planning on arriving at the same time with your partner please forward them their pass so they can enter whenever they arrive at the venue. Passes are personal.

IMPORTANT NOTES & RECOMMENDATIONS

• All ticket sales are final, personal & non-refundable. 
• When buying a couple pass please forward your ticket to the partner so if needed you can arrive at different times, when arriving please have you ticket(s) ready to be scanned.
• If you can't make it you can sell or give your ticket away, in this case please inform us of their first & last name and the buyer of the original tickets, leader passes can only be sold to other leaders, follower passes only to other followers.
• Strictly no outdoor shoes on the dance floor, please leave outdoor shoes in the shoe rack, bring non-marking indoor shoes or dance on your socks. 
• For high heels we ask to wear heel protectors; for some models we have them for sale at the venue. 
• No drinks on the dance floors, only in the hallways, please keep any bottle and mugs in the hallway or dressing rooms to avoid liquid spilling on the dance floors.
• To get to know more people, also invite people you don't know for a dance.
   
• Followers, don't hesitate to ask the leaders for a dance ;) 
• Respect and be considerate for other dancers on the dance floor
   
• We provide some snacks & drinks at the venue. 
• BYO (Bring your own drinks & snacks, 24h Alepa next door)

Avec is a welcoming and unique dance club in Vallila, specialized in partner dancing and high quality dance teaching! At Avec you can dance swing, bachata, salsa, kizomba and many other popular social dances! Avec opened its doors in 2019 and quickly established its strong position in the Helsinki social dance community. Avec is Da Place to be!

ABOUT OMAR & JOHANNA

Omar & Johanna are passionate and experienced professional dance teachers, events organizers & community builders in Helsinki area! They've been dancing all their lives and teaching + organizing dance events together since 2011! They have run more than 800 dance events as I Dance Helsinki with heart and love for the dance community. In 2019 they joined forces together with 3 other top quality dance teachers, to open a dance studio, Avec Dance Club in Vallila, Helsinki.
